Matching Your Child with a Tutor

An initial consultation helps us assess your child’s current academic status and identify expectations and objectives.
Next we’ll work with you to find the perfect tutor for your child based on area and level of expertise, as well as personal fit.
Each tutor passes a strict and thorough recruiting and training process to make sure he or she is an expert with the material and is a skilled, engaging educator.

Scheduling

We’ll work with you to create a regular schedule that fits your child’s lifestyle and goals, whether that means weekly check-ins to develop a deeper understanding of the week’s schoolwork or bi-weekly sessions for concept review and preview of upcoming topics.
Sessions will take place either in your home or at the Empire Edge offices.

Staying Proactive

We immediately identify and address issues and work to resolve them rather than wait for a disappointing grade to signal that there is an issue.
Regular check-ins between our senior staff and our tutors enable us to monitor effectiveness and adjust our approach when necessary.
